A low profile wideband monopole antenna with double finger ring for BAN

Abstract

This paper describes the simulated and measured results of the very low profile antenna with wearable double finger ring for UWB band (7.25-10.25GHz).The height of the proposed antenna was 1 mm. VSWR less than 2 was obtained for UWB band with/without finger. It is shown that the finger do not affect on the input impedance as long as the double finger ring in mounted on finger.
