Abstract

A novel phthalocyanine-based dimer, which is a di-nuclear pyridino-tri-tert-butylbenzotetraazaporphinatozinc linked by a silver ion, has been synthesized to control the states of assembly and characterized using electronic absorption and magnetic circular dichroism spectroscopy.
