Abstract

This paper presents a new method of creating the strobe image from a moving player's video captured by camera work operation. This is a simple method which need not to separate the player and the background. We also propose an effective interface using strobe image for motion analysis. The proposed method is verified on sports videos such as tennis, ski jump, climbing and running. The strobe image could be created correctly from all videos. In the usability test, the users evaluated that our interface was useful in motion analysis and better than a standard video player.
