Abstract

Bicycle theft is a social problem, and so various theft prevention tools and systems are being developed. This paper proposes a new system to prevent bicycle theft using IoT technology, which judges whether the current location and parking lots nearby are high-risk or low-risk, from their environmental information, and notifies the user of the results. A prototype of the proposed system is built to evaluate its feasibility, and an experiment conducted proves its effectiveness.
