Abstract

An iteration perturbation method to treat coupling eigenvalue problems is proposed. Since proposed method only needs eigenpairs for uncoupled problem of structure, necessary amount of computations reduces, and one can utilize usual finite element solvers installed in many program codes. To see effectiveness of the author's method in coupling problems, some numerical results are given for free vibrations of a beam submerged in water chamber.
