Bifurcation phenomenon in spin relaxation

Abstract

A dissipative dynamics derived through a different scaling limit from that of van Hoove's is addressed. The spin relaxation under the scaling is investigated. Interesting features in the relaxation dynamics, which are never found in the weak-coupling regime, are outlined.
