Abstract

The relationship between the rotation angle of linear po- larization for a sequentially rotated circular array antenna and the array antenna gain has been demonstrated earlier, and a multiring array antenna with medium gain has already been proposed by the authors. Using these results, a novel self-diplexing array antenna with high isolation level and higher gain operation consisting of the above-mentioned multiring array is proposed, and the measured results are presented to demonstrate the proposed method of improving gain for both transmit and receive bands in L-band mobile satellite communication.
