Abstract
The cluster dissociation on Pt(1 1 1) surfaces was analyzed. The diffusion of Pt clusters was observed at low temperatures. The loss of clusters from the central region of the (1 1 1) plane was also examined at temperatures greater than 200 K. The temperature at which dissociation occurred on Pt(1 1 1) was also found.
