Abstract

This paper proposes a complex band-pass filter based on charge-sharing switched-capacitor filters. The proposed filter topology applies a charge bleeder switched-capacitor to independently control the center frequency and bandwidth of the complex band-pass filter. Although there is a restriction on the design, the proposed circuit topology offers a relatively easy bandwidth control by changing the value of bleeding capacitors. Simulation results using Spectre show the validity of the proposed design.
