Abstract

The two-dimensional site-diluted Ising model was simulated using probability-changing cluster (PCC) Monte Carlo algorithm. The crossover from the percolation fixed point to the pure Ising fixed point with system size was also studied. The importance of corrections to finite-size scaling in strong-dilution as well as weak-dilution regions was also discussed. The results revealed that the 2D site-diluted Ising model exhibits weak self-averaging.
