Abstract
A designed cyclodextrin-peptide hybrid, which has multiple functional groups on its α-helix peptide backbone, has been synthesized as a catalyst for ester hydrolysis. Kinetic study revealed that the carboxylate group plays a key role in this system. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
