Abstract

Pore size distribution was determined from solute permeability data for urea, glucose and sucrose as a function of Strokes radius. Regenerated cellulose membranes have more limited pore size distribution than polymethylmethacrylate membrane. The solute permeability of glucose oligomers (monomer to octomer) was calculated from clearance data obtained by dialysis experiments.
