Abstract

Stocking large quantities of items on warehouse and supermarket shelves creates hassle for both employees and customers as they try to find what they need. This paper describes a low cost and simple smart stock assistant that directs the user to the exact item location at a warehouse or a supermarket. It consists of an ESP 32 microcontroller and several other low-cost components with a android app. This system enables employees and customers to use the android app that interacts with the hardware to find the location of an item quickly in a warehouse or a supermarket.
