Abstract

Psycho-acoustical experiments have been conducted to clarify the difference limens of ratio of vertical component to total early reflection energy ERv on auditory envelopment when the ratio of lateral component arriving within 100 ms is constant. The results showed that ERv can be used effectively as an objective parameter when the peculiarity of directional distribution of early reflections is considered for auditory envelopment.
