Abstract
This paper proposes a design of the digital sinusoidal oscillator based on a lattice structure. A design formula is presented which determines various parameters of the circuit. It is shown that the relative sensitivity of the oscillation frequency and the amplitude in regard to the circuit parameters are small in the practically important low-frequency band. The effect of the roundoff error due to finite word-length arithmetic is analyzed, using a white-noise model. A computer simulation is performed, indicating that the proposed structure is much better than the direct form structure in the low-frequency band.
