Abstract

In this work, the top-seeding technique was applied to the fabrication of both melt-textured YBCO and YBCO/Ag pellets. Both REBCO single crystals and single grains of REBCO are used as seeds. The effects of metal additive and seed nature on texture quality of the samples are discussed.
