Abstract

Fatigue behavior of the microsized austenitic stainless steel specimens was studied by dynamic bending tests. The results revealed that fatigue behavior in the microsized material is similar to that in ordinary-sized materials. Fatigue damage in the microsized specimens was examined and the size effect on fatigue behavior was discussed.
