Abstract

This chapter summarizes diastereoselective electrochemical fluorination developed in our laboratory. This includes diastereoselective anodic fluorination of open-chain and cyclic compounds containing heterocyclic compounds mainly via intramolecular 1,2- and 1,3-asymmetric induction. The stereocontrol mechanisms are illustrated. The related work by others are also covered in this chapter.
