Hopf algebraic methods in finite tensor categories: Characters and integrals

Abstract

This paper reviews the character theory and the integral theory for Hopf algebras extended to finite tensor categories, as well as recent techniques for finite abelian categories and finite tensor categories. Some applications to fusion categories are also given.
