Abstract

For such symptoms as ambulation difficulty and paralysis caused by congenital diseases, the recovery is remarkable with rehabilitation from early childhood. However, long-term continuation of operative rehabilitation is difficult for children, especially judging whether the rehabilitation is appropriate without the support of a physical therapist in the home. We developed a new interactive system to encourage a physically disabled child to continue appropriate rehabilitation at home. This article reports the improvements to solve our previous system’s problems.
