Abstract

This study proposes a longitudinal hybrid transducer with a longitudinal resonance frequency tuning electric port. By changing the external electrical impedance, the longitudinal resonance can be adjusted independently of the torsional one. The proposed transducer is also applicable to ultrasonic processing tools and ultrasonic motors.
