Abstract
Crystalline orientation of bulk YBa2Cu3O7-δ specimens oriented by shock-loading method is investigated by the magnetic torque measurement in the superconducting mixed state. The torque amplitude of the shocked specimen is larger than that of the as-pressed specimen measured as a reference. The result reveals that the crystalline orientation in which the c-axis is perpendicular to the pellet disk plane is established by shock loading.
