Abstract

High critical current density is achievable in melt processed bulk YBaCuO. There are several melt processings which promise high Jc in bulk YBaCuO. Comparative study of various melt processings was performed in this study. It was found that the size control of Y2BaCuO5 inclusions has the key to the improvement in Jc values.
