Model-error feedback control for compensating packet loss and time delay

Abstract

In this paper, we propose a design method of a control system involving the compensation of packet loss and time delay based on the concept of communication disturbance, without using a feedback loop that includes a time-delay element. By introducing a feedback on the plant side, the steady state error due to modeling error is compensated. In addition, we verified the effectiveness of the proposed method by numerical simulations and experiments.
