Network architecture for home energy managemet system

Abstract

The network architecture for home energy management system (HEMS) was described. The robust power line communication modem with dispersed tones, compact control interface for networked appliances and network adapter that connected appliance to home network were developed. It was shown that the compact appliance control interface (CACI) realized commercial household appliance with a control and monitor function in minimum cost.
