Abstract
Analysis of a 2-dimensional planar array composed of crank-line antennas is presented. Numerical results, together with radiation pattern, gain, and aperture efficiency for the 12 GHz band are discussed. An aperture efficiency of more than 78% over a frequency bandwidth of 2.5% is achieved from a crank-line array antenna exhibiting a gain of 30 dB.
