On the dynamics of vortices in BSCCO(2223)/Ag tape

Abstract

Magnetic relaxation measurements in BSSCO(2223)/Ag rolled tape were performed at different temperatures and magnetic fields applied along the c-axis. The crossover in vortex dynamics has been found on the temperature dependence of the activation energy U0. It is argued that the crossover T * might be associated with the melting of the 2D vortex lattice.
