Abstract

High quality melt-processed REBa2Cu3O 7-δ superconductors (RE = Sm,Eu,Gd) were grown in air. Transmission electron microscopy and energy dispersive spectroscopy were used for the analysis. A periodic array of the chemical composition with tens of micrometer correlation was unveiled due to spatial oscillation of RE and Ba.
