Robots Based on Chemical System

Abstract

The main purpose of our study is a robot driven by chemical reaction network, and we are proposing the concept of #x201C;Chemical robot'. Here we review our progress of BZ gels and mention about possible application of BZ gels. BZ gels are system that produces self-motion. The self-motion of BZ gels are powered by the chemical energy of the Belousov-Zhabotinsky (BZ) reaction.
