Abstract
Site-specific hydrolysis of yeast tRNAPhe was performed by anthraquinone-glycine conjugate (Anth-Gly) and anthraquinone-iminodiacetate conjugate (Anth-IDA) under physiological conditions. The cleavages by Anth-Gly occurred selectively at the stems, whereas the cleavage by Anth-IDA are restricted to the D-loop, the extra-loop, and the T psi C-stem.
