Stable lightwave frequency synthesizer using discrete-time negative frequency feedback with polarization diversity technique

A stable lightwave frequency synthesizer has been realized by combining discrete-time negative frequency feedback with a polarization diversity technique. It is confirmed that this synthesizer operated stably for 24 h by using an optical frequency counter with 100 MHz accuracy.
