Abstract
In this study, full-scale experiments were conducted to verify the effectiveness of a Coandă air-conditioning system compatible with variable air volume controls that meets the economic and energy conservation requirements for office buildings. First, we confirmed that a good temperature environment can be formed even at a small air volume where temperature uniformity is disadvantageous and at a large air volume where drafts could occur. Next, thermal comfort was evaluated by subject experiments at a large air volume where the airflow was easily affected.
