Abstract

We have synthesized some alternating-copolymers containing heterocyclic compound 2-Phenylimidazo[1,2-a]pyridine (PIP), which shows fluorescence at the near-ultraviolet region, and has been investigated their optical properties. The resulting copolymers were soluble in CHCl3, and showed emission at the visible region.
