Abstract

Series of alternating fluorine- or carbazore-based conjugated copolymers containing silicon were synthesized by palladium-catalyzed Heck reaction. Photophysical properties of the copolymers were studied by UV or PL spectroscopy. Incorporation of the silicon compounds in the fluorene-based copolymers with long molecular length caused blue-shift of λ max.
