Synthesis of variable IIR digital filters with complex coefficients

Abstract

The use of a single parameter in the synthesis of a variable infinite impulse response filter is proposed. Such filters require real-time modification of their filtering characteristics during operation. To address this, a circuit implementation of the proposed variable IIR filter is developed.
