Abstract

The power line carrier (PLC) communication control module is developed. The module supports completely physical and data link layers based on the Japanese technical standard for a low-speed system(draft). Moreover it provides useful functions to compose a Home Control System. All the circuits of the module are included in one compact (58mm x 38mm) hybrid integrated circuit. Thus a functional communication device for the Power Line Home Control System is implemented. An application system is also developed based on it.
