V-I characteristics of a melt grown YBCO as revealed by a pulsed magnetic field

Abstract

By applying a pulsed magnetic field to a bulk-YBCO disc (15 mmφ × 0.7 mm), we have derived V-I curves as a function of magnetic field and temperature. On the basis of these curves, the relationship between ρf(T), Jc and Bc2(T) is discussed.
