Abstract

A fully digital high speed Quadrature Phase Shift Keying (QPSK)/Offset QPSK (OQPSK) burst demodulator for radio applications is described. This has been implemented on a Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor (CMOS) master slice Very Large Scale Integrated circuit (VLSI). Four schemes are presented. Evaluation results confirmed that the developed demodulator VLSI performs well in 60 Mb/s OQPSPK operation.
