Abstract

A novel system consisting of a computer graphics (CG) simulator, a hand controller (H/C) for 5 d.o.f. of the advanced robotic hand (ARH) and a control algorithm for teleoperation combining a force control with the concept of a virtual operator is proposed. The system results in a safe operation suitable for the control of space robots.
