This study was conducted to classify the irritation and hostile sentiment of drivers and to examine its relation with drivers' demographic characteristics and driving background. Two hundred juvenile drivers were investigated to collect data: 1 irritation and hostile sentiment while driving a car, 2 hostile sentiment as a personality trait, 3 demographic characteristics and driving background, and 4 experiences of traffic accidents and those accident prone. The multi-variate analysis was used to classify drivers' sentiment types. Analysis shows that irritation and hostile sentiment of drivers are classified into three factors and that aggressiveness as a personality trait has a positive correlation with total points of irritation and hostile sentiment of drivers but has no significant relation with each factor score. It also shows that irritation and hostile sentiment of drivers has a significant relation with some accident-prone experiences.
