title = "Ammonia-treated titania as an anode material of lithium-ion battery with high-rate capability",
abstract = "Titania nanofiber was attempted to be partly nitrided by direct heat-treatment in ammonia gas flow at 800-1000°C, in order to add the high electron conductive property of titanium nitride into titania to make titanium compounds having both lithium insertion ability and high electron conductivity in one particle. The resulted compounds from the fiber showed a good rate-capability of reversible lithium insertion even without any addition of conductive-support material, such as carbon black.",
