This paper presents construction of a new power system to deal with the issue of electricity shortage improvement. In this new power system, a concept of waterway distribution system called 'motase' is applied to electrical power grid. Micro grid is constructed from group of 'cells' in which each 'cell' is limited to a local area in supplying power generation for local consumption. In this paper, the analysis is conducted on two cases; using a micro grid consisting of one cell and micro grid with two interconnected cells. Micro grid model consisting of 2 cells is analyzed for its power interchange characteristics. The power interchange characteristics through a DC line are studied when one of the two cells encounters power shortage. It can be shown that a stable power can be supplied with sufficient power quality even though the local areas do not have precision equipment.
