Enzyme biosensor is one of the most popular and important biosensors in the wide range of fields such as medicine, environment, agriculture, food, cosmetics, and pharmacy. The performance of the enzyme biosensor often depends on how well enzyme, which often works in aqueous media, is immobilized to transducers. This is a critical step in biosensor design. In this section, enzyme immobilization chemistry for biosensors is described.
