抄録

Bulk mechanical alloying is an alternative solid-sate process, that can overcome several intrinsic difficulties in conventional mechanical alloying processes. The present process is adaptable to industrial production of functional alloys and compounds because of short processing times and the absence of contamination. With the aid of theoretical simulations in understanding the mechanical behavior, a pass schedule for each material system can be rationally deduced.
