N2 - Several high quality (RE)Ba2Cu3O7-x single crystals with RE = Y, Yb and Dy, with varying amounts of Au- and Al-impurities have been investigated by SQUID magnetometry. All samples show fishtail behavior. Differences in the sample preparation only influence the position of the maximum in Jc. We conclude from our results, that the fishtail phenomenon is not a material specific property, but a generally occurring property of the flux line lattice.
