The measurement results of the noise distribution of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) equipment on the patient's table during slice positioning, was investigated. Slice positioning is an imaging method that is used to decide the range of imaging in a short time. Echo planar imaging method with a single echo and nonmagnetic microphones were used for slice positioning. Duration of each slice positioning was 50 seconds and sound was that occurred in 100 seconds was analyzed during which slice positioning was repeated twice. The sound produced by the imaging methods of T1W and T2W was also analyzed. It was found that the level of noise during noise slice positioning was almost the same as the level of T2W.
