抄録

Asymmetric networks that use telephone lines or other ground lines as the upward link and communication satellites as the downward link are expected to relieve the heavy traffic resulting from the rapid growth of multimedia communications. We have invented asymmetric routing management protocol (ARMP) for negotiating the downward link's virtual channel. This can provide Internet access to many users via a limited number of satellite communication links.
