Study on Confectionery Feeder

The vibrotransportation of confectionery is studied both experimentally and analytically. Using two types of the rice cracker and the vibrating plates, experiments were performed. Attention is focused on the vibroimpact system between the rice cracker and vibrating surface. It is shown that the conveying velocity of the rice cracker depends on the frequency and amplitude of the vibratory input as well as various physical parameters. The rice cracker is assumed to be a mass point for simplicity of analysis. By comparing the experimental with calculated results, the conveying velocity obtained by this method appear realistic.
